When product decisions get complex—I bring clarity
I'm a product leader with 10+ years building marketplaces and platforms in healthcare, HR-tech, and education. I specialize in navigating ambiguity—balancing competing stakeholders, exploring new customer segments, or aligning technical work to business value. I lead rapid discovery to figure out what matters, then design systems that scale.
I'm drawn to mission-driven companies solving problems that improve people's lives—whether that's connecting people with meaningful work, delivering critical medical education, or building tools that support caregivers.
How I Got Here
Human-Centered Foundation
I built my career foundation across two complementary disciplines: education and design. I earned a Master's in Secondary Education from Arizona State University, focused on learning design, differentiation, and action research—learning how people actually learn, how to design for different user needs, and how to measure outcomes that matter.
Alongside this, I worked in visual communication and design across healthcare, education, and branding—developing skills in empathy, clarity, and user-centered problem-solving. Together, these gave me a deeply human-centered foundation: always start with the people, understand how they experience systems, and design for clarity.
Moving Upstream to "Why"
I transitioned into technology leadership at Consensus Medical Communications, directing delivery of digital learning platforms for Fortune 500 pharma. This taught me to build scalable infrastructure—content systems, compliance frameworks, regulated environments—and gave me early exposure to the platform foundations that make SaaS products work.
But I realized I was answering "what to build" and "how to build it" without defining "why it mattered." I wanted to move upstream—to lead product strategy, not just execute it. That's when I moved fully into product management, where I could define what we built and connect technical work to business outcomes and user value.
Product as Integration (The Secret Sauce)
Product management is where I discovered my secret sauce: applying education, design, and technology together to bring clarity to high-stakes, complex, ambiguous product challenges.
My education background taught me how to understand different user needs and measure what matters. My design foundation keeps me human-centered and focused on clarity. My technology experience gave me systems thinking and platform architecture mindset.
Together, they let me thrive when the path forward isn't clear—leading human-centered discovery to figure out what to build, then architecting platforms that scale. This is what I bring to multi-sided marketplaces, new customer segments, and strategic technical work: the ability to see both the people and the systems, and connect them.
My Journey Through Product
Design, Education & Human-Centered Foundation
Freelance, Agencies, NAU, ASU
What I Built
- •Visual communication and branding across healthcare and education
- •Master's in Secondary Education (learning design, differentiation, action research)
- •Design consultancy serving diverse clients
What I Learned
Human-centered design starts with empathy and understanding how people learn. Differentiation taught me different users need different paths—foundational for multi-sided products. Running a consultancy taught me customer discovery under ambiguity.
DISCOVERY FOUNDATION
Education training in action research and differentiation taught me to observe how different people experience the same system—a skill that translates directly to multi-sided product discovery and understanding competing user needs.
Technology Leadership in Healthcare Education
Consensus Medical Communications - Medical Communications Director, Technology
What I Built
- •Multi-million-dollar digital learning initiatives for Fortune 500 pharma
- •Scalable systems for content, compliance, access
- •Cross-functional delivery teams in regulated environments
What I Learned
Building for complex, regulated industries requires balancing compliance with usability. Early exposure to the kind of platform infrastructure that makes SaaS products scale.
SYSTEMS THINKING EMERGES
Led delivery of content management and compliance systems for pharma learning—early experience with foundational infrastructure that enables products to scale across customers and use cases.
Product Leadership Emerges
Array - Healthcare Training/Events Product Manager → Senior Product Manager
What I Built
- •Scaled live-event engagement platform from 5% to 50% of company revenue
- •Launched analytics SaaS product (30% efficiency gain, new revenue stream)
- •Discovered and launched pharma branding solution
- •Introduced agile practices and iterative delivery
What I Learned
Discovery-driven iteration unlocks growth. Adjacent product opportunities emerge from deep customer understanding. Process changes like agile enable faster learning cycles.
DISCOVERY LEADERSHIP
Observed internal teams manually compiling engagement data → led discovery on reporting workflows → launched analytics product. Discovery doesn't just inform roadmaps—it creates new products.
Strategic Transformation
Array - Healthcare Training/Events Director of Product (PE-backed scaleup)
What I Built
- •Virtual SaaS pivot during COVID (50% revenue growth in 6 months, 90-day launch)
- •GDPR/CCPA/SOC-2 compliance capabilities unlocking Fortune 500 procurement
- •High-trust product team through mentoring and fostering ownership
What I Learned
Crisis forces clarity—rapid discovery and modular architecture enable speed. Compliance isn't a checkbox—it's a product capability that unlocks markets. Building resilient teams matters as much as building great products.
DISCOVERY + PLATFORM THINKING
Launched virtual MVP in days with modular event platform, then iterated weekly based on live event feedback—proving discovery doesn't stop at launch and moving fast + building for scale aren't tradeoffs.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL LEADERSHIP
Partnered with legal and engineering to translate GDPR/CCPA/SOC-2 into scalable platform architecture—unlocking enterprise deals by reframing compliance as capability, not checkbox.
Principal-Level Impact
Dice.com - B2B HR-tech Marketplace Senior Product Manager → Principal Product Manager
What I Built
- •First PLG initiative (8% conversion, unlocked SMB segment, repeatable playbook)
- •Employer branding monetization (30% ACV increase through value-based bundles)
- •Marketplace liquidity (20% YoY growth, first early access program)
- •Roles/permissions platform enabling self-serve at scale
What I Learned
Infrastructure work needs strategic context to gain traction. Monetization is product work, not just pricing. Early access programs shorten feedback cycles from months to weeks. Cross-functional alignment is as critical as code.
SYSTEMS THINKING AT SCALE
Connected slow-rolling roles/permissions work to PLG strategy, giving 18 months of effort focus and urgency—creating platform foundation for all future self-serve products.
CROSS-FUNCTIONAL ORCHESTRATION
Led weekly alignment across finance, marketing, ops, legal, and sales for PLG and monetization—balancing competing priorities while maintaining rapid iteration velocity.

Beyond Product Work
AI Exploration (2025)
I'm exploring how AI changes product development through hands-on prototyping—building voice-first caregiver companions, agentic cooking assistants, and data exploration tools. I believe the best way to understand AI is to build with it.
Writing
I write about product discovery, platform thinking, and building products that serve complex stakeholders on my Substack. Recent topics include infrastructure work, rapid experimentation, and navigating strategic uncertainty.
What I'm Looking For
Mission-Driven Work
I'm drawn to companies building products that improve people's lives—connecting people with meaningful work, delivering critical education, supporting caregivers, or solving problems in healthcare, HR-tech, or education.
Complex, Multi-Sided Problems
I thrive when serving multiple stakeholders with different needs. These tensions aren't problems to avoid—they're opportunities to build something valuable that works for everyone.
Scale-Up Stage (50-500 people)
I do my best work at companies past product-market fit but still figuring out how to scale—where rapid discovery and platform thinking can unlock the next phase of growth.
Currently Exploring
I'm seeking Principal/Staff Product Manager roles at mission-driven companies (50-500 people) in healthcare, HR-tech, or education—places where the path forward isn't always clear and discovery-driven, systems-oriented leadership can drive meaningful impact.
